The 1000 square foot New York Delicatessen-styled restaurant is at the front entrance to the mall's new Dining District. Rakesh Chadha, the franchisee at this location, has been a The Original Soupman franchisee for over ten years. He also operates LaBottega Italian Restaurant, Café Spice and Chock Full of Nuts Coffee franchises at Roosevelt Field Mall. In 1984, The Original SoupMan opened at 55th St. and 8th Ave. in Manhattan and has become known for quality all-day menu along with its full authentic NY Delicatessen menu of Al's Famous Ruben, Fresh Sliced Corned Beef & Pastrami, Classic Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, Create your own Salad, Breakfast and many other choices including Al Yeganeh's Soups.
