The island-inspired full-service Hurricane Grill & Wings has just opened its second location in Maryland. The franchise chain opened in early June at 310 Domer Ave. near the Laurel Town Centre in Laurel in Northern Maryland. The unit is owned by franchisee Lester Pollitt who comes to Hurricane Grill & Wings with several years of experience in the franchise industry. He has plans to open an additional three locations in the Maryland market in the coming years. The new location features an indoor dining room that seats up to 150 people and an outdoor patio that seats a total of 50. The family-friendly restaurant is known for its more than 35 signature flavors never frozen fresh jumbo wings, the Build-A-Burger menu feature and entrees including seafood, salads and sandwiches which can be paired with sides like Garlic N’ Parm Fries, Caribbean Yellow Rice and Fresh Cilantro Tomatoes. Guests are also able to choose from locally crafted beers. Based in West Palm Beach, Florida, there are over 80 Hurricane Grill & Wings restaurants open or under construction in 15 states. Hurricane Grill & Wings currently has a restaurant in Elkton in Eastern Maryland and earlier in the year it signed a multi-unit development agreement with for Western Maryland.
