Grabbagreen, the Scottsdale, Arizona-based quick service organic food and juice chain, has reached a 34-unit development agreement with Trindel Investments that will see the chain enter the Eastern U.S. market. The new franchise partner is sourcing sites now and expects to open the first location in Greensboro, North Carolina. Founded in 2013, Grabbagreen is a fast food and juice concept that combines good tasting healthy food with the speed and convenience of traditional fast food. Its menu includes organic food items, antibiotic and hormone-free beef, poultry, fresh-pressed juice and whole food smoothies. The healthy kid-friendly menu is easy to grab on the go. Keely Newman and Kelley Bird introduced the Grabbagreen concept in 2013 based on a healthy menu they created for their active small children. The partners opened three locations, two in Scottsdale and one in Phoenix, and in April 2015 they launched a franchise program. This latest agreement follows multi-unit deal for three locations in Dallas, Texas with 3MUnited LLC that was announced in early-June and a three-unit agreement with Patricia Logan of Strong & Healthy LLC for locations in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area in mid-June. . “The East Coast store agreement is a result of our continued hard work to move forward with our franchise model,” commented Kim Cramton, Vice President, Operations and Franchise Development. “I’m happy to partner with Trindel Investments.
