Danish coffee and juice bar Joe & the Juice will be opening its first North American location in a recently signed street location in the former D&D Deli location at 67 Spring St. in New York’s SoHo area. Situated between Crosby and Lafayette streets, the 4200 square foot location includes 2200 square feet on ground level and about 2000 square feet of basement space. The high traffic location is just off the entrance to the Spring St. subway station with close proximity to Broadway. Introduced in 2002, Joe & the Juice offer a selection of fruit juices and smoothies in unique blends catered to taste, mood and nutritional requirements. Customers choose the fruit from the open juice bar and watch smoothie being blended in front of them. In addition to a selection of coffees, the units also offer a selection of Danish style snacks and sandwiches. The chain presently includes almost 90 locations in Denmark, UK, Germany, Norway Sweden, Iceland and France and plans to roll out additional U.S. locations in the next few years. RKF’s Joshua Strauss and Taryn Talmadge represented the landlord, 71 Spring St LLC in the transaction and Amira Yunis and Anthony Stanford of CBRE represented Joe and the Juice.
