No Rest for Eclipse Building…..
South Florida-based general contracting and construction management firm Eclipse Building Corp expects an early October completion on the Green Leaf’s, Bananas Smoothies & Frozen Yogurt and South Philly Steak & Fries in the new Tampa Premium Outlets, the 440,000 square foot, 110-store outlet mall being developed in Tampa by Simon Property Group. Eclipse Building was retained by franchisee Raitom LLC to head the build of the three quick service restaurants that will accounts for almost 40 percent of the outlet’s food court. The three gourmet eateries will occupy 1320 square feet of the food court. Eclipse will handle all aspects of the build-out, from concept to completion. “This is just the start to many more great things that we will be involved in throughout the community,” said Eclipse Founder, President Todd Whalen in late August. In addition to its work on Raitoms’ eateries, Eclipse is currently bidding other food court and retail vendors that are part of Tampa Premium Outlets. Construction on Green Leaf’s, Bananas Smoothies & Frozen Yogurt, and South Philly Steaks & Fries is expected to be completed October 5th and Tampa Premium Outlets, one of Simon’s largest outlet malls, is slated to open on October 29th. In addition, Eclipse has started construction on Stellino’s Italian Trattoria & Bar in the Downtown Doral, a mixed-use project that will include about 180,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space along with 2600 luxury residential units, public green space and a charter school. The fine dining restaurant, which will occupy more than 4100 square feet, is the latest restaurant by veteran restaurateur Sal Stellino, who has owned more than 35 Italian dining establishments over the last four decades. “The philosophy behind our menu is to bring authentic Italian taste simply made with fresh, healthy ingredients from local markets or directly imported from Italy,” Stellino said. Stellino’s is currently exploring sites for future locations. Construction on Stellino’s Trattoria & Bar in Downtown Doral is expected to be complete by the end of November. The live-work-play concept in the Miami-Dade County is slated to be up and running this December.
