Rapidly expanding casual ‘better-burger’ chain BurgerFI opened two new locations to bring the chain to 75 units. The chain opened its second Jacksonville, Florida location and 28th location to open in Florida. The 3000 square foot end cap location is in Brooklyn Station at 108 Riverside Ave. in downtown Jacksonville. In addition, BurgerFI opened in a plaza at 860 New Loudon Rd. in Latham in the Albany, New York area. It is the sixth in New York state.  BurgerFI reported record earnings in 2014 and is on track for an even stronger 2015, with plans to add another 30 to 40 units domestically, and international locations opening in Mexico City, Panama and London next year. The chain has also opened non-traditional storefronts in family-friendly venues like Sun Life Stadium in Miami and the CNN Center in Atlanta.  The chain features its signature all-natural beef hamburgers with no steroids, antibiotics, growth hormones, chemicals, or additives ever used. The menu also includes fresh-cut fries, hand-battered onion rings, Kobe beef hot dogs, a freshly made in-house quinoa VegeFi Burger, secret sauce, freshly prepared custards, concretes, Coca Colas made with natural cane sugar, craft beer selections, wine and more.
