Restaurant & QSR Expansion Report

Franchisee Brings Fresh Mexican to GA….

In mid-September, multi-unit franchisee Nick Patel will open his first of seven Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina at 5215 Windward Pkwy in Alpharetta, an affluent suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. The location is in the Windward Square in the former Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint location. Known for its custom burritos, tacos and five house-made salsas, Salsarita’s features an extensive menu of items made in accordance to authentic Mexican recipes. With experience in the restaurant industry as a multi-unit developer in the sandwich category, Patel has seen Salsarita’s growth throughout the country along with the growing demand for authentic Mexican cuisine made with the freshest ingredients. “Being able to introduce Salsarita’s to a market that demands the highest quality food is tremendously exciting,” said Patel. “It’s always satisfying to get in on the ground floor of a concept that’s sure to grow in coming years, and with Salsarita’s I see a business that’s primed for continued growth.”  Founded in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2000 and acquired by franchise veteran Phil Friedman in 2011, Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina operates more than 75 locations in 18 states, including eight that are company-owned.
