Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar is expanding its presence in New York and New Jersey with a multi-unit franchise agreement that will bring the chain to 105 units open, in development or under contract. The full-service casual restaurant and bar chain has signed a franchise agreement with New York-based Blessing Developers Inc. to bring seven Arooga’s restaurants to Bergen and Hudson counties of New Jersey, and West Chester and Rockland counties of New York. The chain currently has ten corporate locations in Pennsylvania, and it opened its first franchise location in Uncasville, Connecticut, adjacent to the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in March of this year as part of a 15 location multi-unit agreement with the Mohegan Holding company. Other franchise locations are currently under development in the Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Long Island, New Jersey, Florida and Georgia markets.
