Opens Last of 2013 Restaurants

Casual restaurant company BJ's Restaurants, Inc. opened its newest restaurant in Frederick, Maryland in late November. The new BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse is located on a free standing pad at the Francis Scott Key regional mall on Buckeystown Pike.  The restaurant is approximately 8500 square feet with seating for approximately 280 guests. It is the company’s last new restaurant for fiscal 2013 and its second location in the Mid-Atlantic, joining the Tysons Corner, Virginia location that opened in late October.

Over the next several years we look forward to opening more new restaurants in the Mid-Atlantic as we continue our national expansion,” said President, CEO Greg Trojan. “The Frederick restaurant is our 17th opening this year.” The company will finish the year with 146 restaurants and Trojan suggests there is room for at least 425 BJ's restaurants domestically.  “We are looking forward to a solid class of new restaurant openings in 2014 and beyond," he added.  BJ's Restaurants Inc. currently owns and operates casual dining restaurants under the BJ's Restaurant & Brewery, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, BJ's Pizza & Grill and BJ's Grill banners.  The restaurants are located in California, Texas, Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Washington, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, New Mexico and Virginia.
