Aggressive Plans Start in Alexandria…..

Burtons Grill & Bar is an upscale casual restaurant concept that features contemporary American cuisine. The eleven-year-old chain presently operates about ten locations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Virginia and South Carolina. In March it opens in the Hilltop Village Center, the Wegmans-anchored open center at Telegraph Rd. and Beulah St. in Alexandria. The 6200 square foot end cap location, designed by Neimitz Design Group, will have a 200 total seating capacity including 168 dining room seats and 32 seats at the bar.  An outdoor patio complete with fire table will also be available during the Spring and Summer months and can accommodate an additional 50 guests. Burtons Grill & Bar features a lunch and dinner menu that uses only the freshest ingredients to showcase creative cooking techniques.  It is also a leader in allergy awareness, continuing to develop menus that provide exceptional dining experiences.  The restaurant will showcase vegetarian and gluten sensitive menus, and its ‘Choosy Kids’ menu uses the USDA’s newest guidelines for nutrition.  This affords parents the opportunity to choose from a list of ingredients and cooking methods when preparing their child’s menu. In addition to the Alexandria location, Burtons Restaurant Group has some aggressive plans that will see it open about seven new units in the next two years. Other units have already been confirmed for Sterling in Virginia, Charlotte in North Carolina, Boca Raton in Florida and Shrewsbury in Massachusetts.
