Restaurant & QSR Expansion Report

Debuts New ‘Main St’ Prototype…..

“UFood is at a historic moment in its history. The brand has a great track record and has built tremendous customer loyalty through our non-traditional sites at airport food courts, military bases and government buildings,” said Sal Rincione, CEO of UFood Grill.  “Our goal now is to take what has worked so well with food service operators and put UFood Grill on Main Street across America.” The quick casual restaurant franchise has introduced a new prototype for a traditional in-line design that it plans to franchise across America. The new prototype was designed by Interior Systems Inc. and its Studio 500 team. The new format averages 1800 square feet but is flexible enough to accommodate larger or smaller spaces in any shape. The design will provide dine-in seating for up to 36 guests.  UFood Grill plans to open one of the first locations in the greater Boston market by early 2016. The restaurant will be in close proximately to corporate headquarters to fulfill site visits for franchise prospects attending UFood Grill Discovery Days.  The company feels that the new look is key to expanding the chain’s franchise network to more than 100 franchise locations over the next four years. Earlier in July, Bob DiBartolomeo joined UFood Grill as Vice President of Franchise Development.
