Fuddruckers Opens in Maine…….

Franchisee B&B Burgers Inc. has opened the first Fuddruckers family-oriented fast casual restaurant in Maine at a Tradewinds convenience store complex on Route 1A in Ellsworth in May.  The 3000 square foot sports-themed restaurant offers both indoor and patio dining plus a number of televisions for game days. Introduced in 1980, Fuddruckers’ grilled-to-order burgers feature always fresh and never frozen, 100 percent USDA premium-cut beef with no fillers or additives and the sesame-topped buns are baked from scratch on-site throughout the day. While burgers are the signature item, the full menu offers an array of sandwiches, platters and salads from the build-your-own produce bar.  Houston, Texas-based Luby's Inc. operates the Fuddruckers chain of over 70 corporately owned Fuddruckers restaurants and franchises about 107 Fuddruckers locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Chile and the Dominican Republic. B&B Burgers Inc. was co-founded by Brad Holmes and Chuck Lawrence, a longtime Fuddruckers fan, who has operated convenience and grocery stores in the area for more than two decades…….
