First in So. Florida……

The first Kona Grill in South Florida will open in mid-September at the expansion of the Dolphin Mall in Miami. The unit will have seating for about 300 guests. The Arizona-based Kona Grill features American favorites with an international influence and award-winning sushi in a casually elegant atmosphere. The restaurants offer steaks, fresh seafood and entrees made in a scratch kitchen as well as a full sushi bar and seasonally inspired menus. The restaurants also offer its ‘Konavore’ frequent diner program features exclusive offers for customers and fans. The diverse menu is complemented by a full service bar offering a broad assortment of wines, specialty cocktails and beers. Kona Grill owns and operates 33 restaurants in 19 states and Puerto Rico. Two others are operating in Sarasota and Tampa in Central Florida. The Dolphin Mall location will be the chains fourth new restaurant in 2015. Three more openings are planned over the balance of the year. The Kona Grill restaurants seat an average of 295 guests and are comprised of multiple dining areas that incorporate modern design elements to create an upscale ambiance. The main dining area, full-service bar, indoor/outdoor patio, and sushi bar provide a choice of atmospheres and a variety of environments designed to attract new customers and encourage repeat visits from regular customers.  Traditionally the chain locates in high-activity areas such as retail centers, shopping malls, urban entertainment districts, and lifestyle centers that are situated near commercial office space and residential housing to attract customers throughout the day.
