New Mexican in NYC…… 

Oxido is a new fast casual restaurant in New York's Flatiron District featuring authentic flavors of modern Mexican cuisine. The street front location opened in early March at 18 West 23rd St. in the former Energy Kitchen location.  At about 1800 square feet, Oxido features a menu of create-your-own burritos, tacos and bowls with fresh grilled vegetables, beans, rice, etc. and free-range, natural chicken, beef or pork. The new concept is the work of Jesse Perez, a chef from San Antonio, along with business partners, Shmilly Gruenstein and Daihwan Choi.
