New Orleans-based Ruby Slipper Café is seeking staff for is first location in Florida that is scheduled to open in downtown Pensacola later in May. The street front unit is at 509 S. Palafox St. at West Main St. The Ruby Slipper Café is a family owned and operated restaurant concept that features an ‘all day menu’ which includes breakfast, lunch and brunch choices all day. The neighborhood café operates seven day a week from seven in the morning until two pm most days and features fresh, local ingredients with a New Orleans touch. In late-January, The Ruby Slipper opened its fourth location in New Orleans in the former McCrory’s location at 1005 Canal St. in the downtown French Quarter area. Other Ruby Slipper Cafes in New Orleans are at 2001 Burgundy St., 139 S. Cortez St. and at 200 Magazine St.
