Charlotte, North Carolina-based Famous Toastery will double its unit presence with a North Carolina and Florida expansion agreement this year that, with openings scheduled for the Fall, will bring the brand to twelve open restaurants. These scheduled openings include the breakfast chain’s entry into the Florida market with an opening at 311 North 3rd St in Jacksonville in November. In addition, the company plans to sign its first franchise agreements in New York, Philadelphia, Tennessee and Virginia before the end of 2015. New territories in North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida are also planned for the year as it expands into other areas in the United States. These signings will account for 35 restaurants to open within the next year and a half.
