Korey and Lovice Konopasek opened their first Epik Burger in the Landmark Station plaza in Jacksonville, Florida in the Spring of this year. The menu includes various burgers based on tastes of several countries along with grass-fed beef burgers, chicken burgers, veggie burgers, etc. with several sides of fries, onion rings, handspun milkshakes, even ‘Grown Up’ milkshakes with alcohol for adults. Korey Konopasek explains that while expansion might be in the future, the current plan is to continue perfecting the brand and the product.

The existing quick casual concept is about 1300 square feet but he noted that in the future, about twelve to 24 months, the target would be higher volume locations and larger spaces of 2000 to 2500 square feet. He added that patio seating would be a welcomed addition. Site selection is presently handled in-house, however, assistance may be considered in the future.
