In April, 2016, Attitude Beer Holding Co., a subsidiary of Harrison, Vickers & Waterman Inc., will open its second World of Beer Tavern at the Westfield Connecticut Post shopping mall in Milford, Connecticut. Construction is expected to start in January 2016 on the over 5000 square foot unit. Roy Warren, CEO of Attitude Drinks Inc. noted that a World of Beer Tavern opened on Isham Rd. in West Hartford earlier this year and the New England WOB LLC area developer is currently in discussions for additional locations in the Connecticut and metro Boston area. New England WOB was established in 2013 to franchise and develop World of Beer locations in the New England-based territory. Stamford, Connecticut was the first location launched during the Summer of 2014,and its second unit, in West Hartford, opened in January 2015 and is planning to continue the aggressive roll out of new units. NEWOB's two managing directors are Glenn Straub and Dan Cecil both of Palm Beach County Florida. Attitude Drinks Inc. has the option to purchase 51 percent of each franchise developed by New England WOB LLC. Based in Tampa, Florida, World of Beer is a chain of about 70 company-owned and franchised themed craft beer restaurants in 18 states. Most World of Beer locations serve craft beer on 50 rotating taps and offer over 500 different local, regional, and imported bottled beer selections along with unique craft sprits and a Tavern-Fare menu.
