In late January, Atlanta-based Tin Lizzy’s Cantina opened its eighth metro-Atlanta location at 6320 Sugarloaf Pkwy in Duluth. The 5750 square foot unit features a hand-crafted, custom bar and seating for 224 guests, including 72 spots on the outdoor patio. With locations in Buckhead, Grant Park, Midtown, Perimeter, Emory Point, Mall of Georgia and late last Summer in Kennesaw, Tin Lizzy’s Cantina offers a FlexMex menu, a cuisine that resembles Tex-Mex, but is comprised and influenced by many cultures. The menu includes more than 25 soft tacos, quesadillas, specialty skillets, etc. Diners can customize their meal with a variety of fresh ingredients and enjoy one of the many specialty margaritas or cocktails from the bar. The restaurants offer live entertainment and multiple televisions play all the major sporting events. The chain is also planning to open a location in the Augusta market in the Summer.
