Rolls into Virginia

In mid-January, quick casual ‘better’ burger concept Burger 21has entered the Virginia market with its first location at 43800 Central Station Dr. in Ashburn. “We look forward to expanding the brand’s presence throughout Fairfax County, Virginia and Montgomery County, Maryland over the next several years,” said franchisee Ray Patel. It is one of four units to be developed in the greater Washington, D.C. area over the next several years. The 3200 square foot unit with seating for 112 offers a variety of burgers such as the Tex-Mex Haystack, Spicy Thai Shrimp, Black Bean and Chicken Marsala.  The Ashburn location will offer craft beer and wine by the glass. Part of Tampa, Florida-based Front Burner Brands, Burger 21 presently has eleven restaurants open and 17 franchised locations in development across the United States and continues to seek single- and multi-unit operators with restaurant experience to join its upscale fast casual dining concept.
