In February, Dan Been joins Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc.  at its Winston-Salem, North Carolina headquarters as Senior Vice President of the company and President, International.  He will be responsible for the company’s international franchise business segment and will report to President and CEO Jim Morgan. Beem succeeds Jeff Welch, who has left the company. With over 20 years experience in the industry, Beem most recently served as President of Cold Stone Creamery and Kahala Corp. International, where he directed all international development, operations and franchise development for Kahala’s 14 brands. Presently there are more than 800 Krispy Kreme locations in over 20 countries around the world.
