With its new BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse that opened in November, California-based BJ’s Restaurants Inc. ended the year with 146 restaurants. The company added about 17 restaurants in 2013. In early February, it kicked off 2014 with a new BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse  at the Virginia Gateway Shopping Center in Gainesville, Virginia.  The 8500 square foot casual restaurant seats about 270 people and features BJ’s extensive menu including its signature deep dish pizza and craft beers.  This is the chain’s second location in Virginia and third in the Mid-Atlantic region.  More are planned with the next opening expected in mid-March in Little Rock in Arkansas, its first in the state.
