Argosy Group Acquires Donper America

Foodservice equipment manufacturer Argosy Group International has finalized an agreement to acquire the privately held manufacturer Donper America.  Founded in 1996, the Donper America line has become a favored choice by foodservice operators in the frozen yogurt business. The Orlando, Florida-based company was early to understand the importance of branding for foodservice operators offering self-service options, and provides customized, cutting edge graphic treatments for their equipment.  "We entered the soft serve market because the resurgence of frozen yogurt has energized the category,” said Donper’s Vice President, Marketing Dan Doromal. Going forward, Argosy Group is dedicated to continuous improvement in product development and customer driven innovation.  It will continue to service current Donper America customers and will continue to sell the Donper America brand.
