Earlier in July, Kathy Roberton, CEO of Cardiff International Inc. reported that the previously announced acquisition of the Romeo’s NY Pizza chain has been completed. "We are pleased to add them to our growing portfolio,” she said. “We're excited to have acquired Romeo's NY Pizza, a family owned business, with great management, assets and lucrative margins and high growth potential.” Introduced in Paterson, New Jersey in 1945, Romeo’s NY Pizza features authentic NY pizza. The dough is made in-house and the finest cheeses and ingredients available are used. The restaurants also serve chicken wings, Philly steak subs, calzones and salads. The franchise chain currently operates five locations in Georgia. Gene Romeo, President of Romeo’s stated, "I am thrilled to part of a public company that can provide me the platform necessary to expand my business. We are currently in negotiations to open a quick serve Romeo's location in the Hartfield International Airport in Atlanta and now have the ability to do so.” Cardiff International is newly emerging as a holding company who adopted a new business model known as ‘Collaborative Commonwealth’, a new form of governance enabling businesses to take advantage of the power of a public company. Targeting the acquisition of undervalued, niche companies with high growth potential, income-producing commercial real estate properties and high return investments, all designed to pay a dividend to our shareholders.
