Elliot Ventures East

Earlier in December, Chef Graham Elliot opened his first restaurant on the East Coast. The 3600 square foot refined yet casual Primary Food & Drink opened in a street location at 409 Greenwich Ave., just north of Bruce Park Ave., in Greenwich, Connecticut. Merlin Verrier, previously Director of Operations for all Graham Elliot restaurants, is the Executive Chef/Managing Partner. The menu is contemporary American seasonal cuisine showcases creative spins on well-known classics with dishes like Deconstructed Caesar served with brioche ‘twinkie’,  Shortrib Stroganoff with truffle coulis, and Berkshire Porkchop with rootbeer BBQ sauce. A selection of classic cocktails and a wine list, comprised primarily of American bottles, are also offered. Celebrity chef Elliot operates the Graham Elliot restaurant and Graham Elliot Bistro in Chicago, having closed his Grahamwich sandwich shop in Chicago’s River North area in August.
