In mid-July, brothers Mike, James and Steven Peterson along with business partner Alison Nelson, re-opened the Hungry Howie’s Pizza quick service restaurant at 1608 W. Friendly Ave. in Greensboro in North Carolina. It is the 14^th Hungry Howie’s restaurant in the state and is also the franchise group’s 14^th restaurant.  It is, however, the group’s first location outside of Michigan. In August, the group will re-open another unit in Greensboro at 5710 W. High Point Rd. Both locations have been closed since July 2013. Operating Hungry Howie’s restaurants since 1984, the group’s recent decision to expand their business into North Carolina stemmed from the large opportunity for growth a newer market for the concept. They have plans to open 20 additional units across North Carolina and South Carolina.
