Last week, Toronto-based SPoT Coffee (Canada) Ltd. reported that Paul Price has joined the company's executive management team as Vice President of Franchise Operations. In this new position, Price will lead SPoT's franchise program, including the company's New York State franchise registration and the completion of the company's franchise infrastructure. He will also assume responsibility for SPoT's ongoing negotiations with potential purchasers of four of the chain’s cafés scheduled to be franchised. Having held senior positions with Play It Again Sports, Yogen Fruz, Dairy Queen and 7-Eleven, Price has acquired a rounded and extensive experience in all aspects of franchise operations, including training, marketing and sales, franchisee service support and franchise infrastructure planning, development and expansion.
