Increasing NJ Presence

roy_rogersIn late September, Roy Rogers Restaurants reported that it had signed a development agreement with an area franchise group led by veteran restaurant operator Dipen Desai to develop Roy Rogers quick service restaurants across Bergen and Essex counties in northern New Jersey. The first Roy restaurant is projected to open in 2016. The agreement will increase the chain’s presence in the New Jersey market as the Mid-Atlantic restaurant chain continues its expansion plan with the franchise development company, Franchise Dynamics. Based in Frederick, Maryland, the Plamondon Companies owns and operates 22 Roy Rogers Restaurants and oversees 28 franchise locations in the Mid-Atlantic region. The Roy Rogers Restaurants feature a menu that features USDA choice top round roast beef, hand-breaded, fresh fried chicken and burgers. Unique to the Roy Rogers units is its Fixin’s Bar, featuring a variety of condiments such as fresh lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, jalapeños and signature sauces.
