Southern fast casual restaurant concept Chicken Salad Chick opened its latest franchise location earlier in the month in Savannah, Georgia. Located in a 2400 square foot in-line unit in the Savannah Centre, the restaurant is owned by franchisees Tim and Kelly Paslawski of Savannah Chick LLC. The location is their first of two Savannah restaurants, as well as one in Hilton Head in South Carolina. Established in Auburn, Alabama in 2008 as a small takeout restaurant, the franchise has been expanding throughout the Southeast and has sold 85 franchises to be developed across the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.  The chain has plans to expand nationally in the coming years. The unique concept offers customers a ‘custom-fit’ chicken salad experience, with 15 original flavors to choose from, as well as gourmet soups, flavorful side salads and freshly-baked desserts.
