Later in the month, Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based East Coast Wings & Grill will enter the Georgia market with the first of five locations. The casual dining chicken wing franchise is opening a 5200 square foot eand cap unit in the Marketplace at Mill Creek center near the Mall of Georgia in Buford. The units will be operated by Fayetteville-based Rulian Restaurant Group who is focusing on the Atlanta and surrounding markets. Generally the East Coast Wings & Grill restaurants operate in 4000 to 5000 square foot freestanding, street and shared pad locations. The 19-year old chain presently operates over 30 locations in North and South Carolina, Florida and Texas. The chain of family restaurants has previously reported plans of opening upwards of 80 restaurants throughout the East and Southeast regions over the coming five years. East Coast Wings & Grill features a menu with about 75 flavors of Buffalo-style chicken wings in various heat intensities along with burgers, wraps, sandwiches, etc.
