Restaurant & QSR Expansion Report

Relocates Portfolio’s First

Southfield, Michigan-based hospitality company, Diversified Restaurant Holdings Inc. has unveiled its latest Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants, located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The new unit is a relocation of a nearby Buffalo Wild Wing restaurant, which first opened in 1999, and was the first to be opened as part of the Diversified Holdings’ portfolio. Presently with 36 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Florida, the company is one of the largest Buffalo Wild Wings franchisees. The new location, in the Forum Center on Mound Rd., is also the first in the state to feature the new ‘Stadia’ design, aimed at bringing the feel of a stadium to the dining experience. The location also offers an additional 1000 square feet with an additional 60 seats and features an all-season patio. Diversified Holdings’ area development agreement calls for an additional 13 locations by 2017. Three more units will open in Michigan, Indiana and Florida in 2014.
