In late May, Chris Hadermann and JP Piemonte open their latest restaurant concept, Smokebelly BBQ, in the former Tavern 99 location on East Andrews Dr. in area in Atlanta, Georgia. According to reports in Atlanta Magazine, the menu will include southern-style barbeque dishes along with some weekly specialty cuts, about 20 craft beers and cocktails. The 8000 square foot freestanding unit includes a patio area and the restaurant will include entertainment. The partners also operate the Big Ketch Saltwater Grill, Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails and the Tin Lizzy’s Cantina chain. The nine year old Tin Lizzy’s concept is a full service Flex-Mex Taqueria restaurant with six locations in the Atlanta area. A seventh Tin Lizzy’s Cantina is opening on George Busbee Pkwy NW in Kennesaw, Georgia in August.
