Starbucks-owned Concept Tests Beer & Wine

Starbucks Corp.-owned La Boulange Bakery is about to launch a test of a new all-day, extended menu concept that will put build-your-own grass-fed burgers on the menu along with open face sandwiches along with its traditional menu. In addition, there will be seasonal dishes and beverages including tap wine, draft beer and house-made cocktails along with coffees, teas and milkshakes. The first all-day La Boulange will open on June 12th at 4th and La Brea Blvd. in Los Angeles.  The 18-year old French-themed La Boulange Bakery operates over 20 bakery cafes in the San Francisco area. The company was acquired by Starbucks Corp. in early 2012.
