VooDoo BBQ & Grill has confirmed that in March, it opens units in Boca Raton in Florida and in Kenner in Louisiana. These additions will bring the chain’s total to 19 with ten to15 more units planned in the next twelve months. As the chain continues expansion, it is currently testing a new prototype with new design features that include an open kitchen format. This prototype will be tested in the Kenner location. The guests will begin their New Orleans BBQ style experience at the carving station, followed by a variety of freshly prepared New Orleans traditional sides down a serving line. “We are always looking for new and efficient ways to serve our guests, and this prototype will give us insight to better do so,” said President, Glen Helton. The restaurant will also add new menu items at the prototype restaurant including Red Beans & Rice with Smoked Sausage, BBQ Jambalaya, BBQ Oysters, Cajun BBQ Chicken, etc.
