In July, Chef Steve Martorano will open a 300-seat Martorano’s Italian-American Kitchen restaurant at the Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City. The restaurant/nightclub, with its white and black décor, is reminiscent of a jazz-era supper club. Much like the Florida and Las Vegas locations, the restaurant will serve dinner in a relaxed atmosphere and at about 10:00 pm, the lights go down, the music gets turned up and the dancing begins. The menu will feature dishes such as Martorano's signature Eggplant Stack, South Philly Cheesesteak, Rigatoni Sunday Pork Gravy, Bucatini Carbonara and the famous Homemade Meatballs. Martorano opened his first Café Martorano in Fort Lauderdale in the mid-1990s. It was followed by Martorano's Italian-American Kitchen restaurants in Hollywood, Florida and at the Rio in Las Vegas. A fifth Martorano's Italian-American Kitchen is coming later this year to Paris Las Vegas at 3655 Las Vegas Blvd. in Las Vegas. It will have 255 seats and occupy large space along the property’s Le Boulevard shopping and dining corridor that is now Le Provençal. The unit will showcase the familiar atmosphere found at the original Martorano’s locations, from classic movie scenes to the sounds of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Bobby Darin.
