Restaurant & QSR Expansion Report

Restaurants Coming to Charlotte Center

Columbia, South Carolina-based developer EDENS reports that John Paglia and Wendy Leege will be opening their first premium, all-natural gelato and fresh fruit sorbetto concept at the Park Road Shopping Center in Charlotte, North Carolina in February. The 620 square foot Va Da Vie Gelato will feature several flavors made in-house daily.  In addition, Rappahannock Oyster Co. will be opening its fourth RockSalt farm-to-table restaurant on the East Coast at the Park Road Shopping Center.  Owned and operated by Travis Croxton, the 2100 square foot restaurant will include a large outdoor patio and a communal interior design and is scheduled for a mid-Summer opening. The menu is seafood-oriented with poultry, meats, etc. options.  It is the Topping, Virginia-based chain’s first restaurant in North Carolina.  Then, by late Summer, local Mexican food restaurant Cantina 1511 will open at the center featuring its menu made from quality freshly grown ingredients. The restaurant is about 6500 square feet. Park Road Shopping Center is a 425,000 square foot open center on Park Rd at East Woodlawn Rd. that has just undergone a $15-million upgrade.
