CEO Robert Paganes and Executive Vice President Bill Kiryakoza have reported that they have become sole partners of the Michigan-based Tubby’s Sub Shops chain. They acquired the ownership of Terry Paganes, who was one of the brothers of the original founder Richard Paganes. Robert ‘Bob’ is the last remaining Paganes in the family business. The new owners announced that Tubby’s Sub Shops will continue commitment to quality products and customer service, offering a variety of premium quality grilled submarines and other menu items that are available for dining-in, carryout, delivery and catered events.“We look forward to beginning complete renovations of all our 65 locations throughout Michigan, giving each store a fresh look,” said Paganes. “We also plan to expand the company and acquire new franchisees and innovative products.” The company has plans to take the sub shops in a new, quick casual direction. The partners have also stated plans to open 20 to 30 franchise locations per year across the country.
